Creating lasting, productive business relationships within the context of corporate culture can be a daily challenge. You’ve committed to delivering specific results, and you must do that consistently with personal integrity and company values. It’s not easy. The pressure to generate results can undercut how we behave and interact with others, but the quality of working relationships has a direct impact on productivity. Council of the Marble Star challenges you to succeed in both arenas: profit and professionalism, because how you achieve a result is as important as the result itself.
Set in King Arthur’s Court, this themed and highly-interactive learning experience presents a challenge as old as Arthurian time-make money and forge relationships, while upholding cultural values. You won’t earn your seat on The Council of the Marble Star if you only succeed in one arena. Along the way you will face deadlines, changing circumstances and rivalries – and you’ll have a great deal of fun dealing with them. Are you up to the challenge? Knock on the door of The Council of the Marble Star and find out.
• Negotiate and build lasting, productive relationships that drive the results you promised
• Synchronise culture with commerce
• Learn to match your intentions with the perceptions of others
• Focus on long terms success and the value of reputation
• Bring company values to life
“The best part of this programme is how it combines examining the results we achieve with how we achieve them. Participants are required to deliver outstanding commercial results but are also judged on the values they demonstrated in delivering them. Were the results obtained in a such a way that they are repeatable? Or were they delivered in a such a way that left stakeholders feeling unappreciated and taken for granted, thereby negating the likelihood of being able to repeat them once word of our reputation spreads?”
‘We were very pleased to have had Eagle’s Flight facilitate a game-based session at our recent leadership conference. The whole afternoon was given over to this, and the session went down a storm. The facilitator had strong stage presence. Eagle’s Flight were able to tap in to the corporate culture, to make the session relevant and part of the overall story. The game concept worked really well, particularly given the multi-region/multi-culture nature of the audience. The review session after the experience really reinforced the learning in the business context aligning it to our leadership commitments.
We realised that the decision to go with a “game” had an element of risk to it – a risk that paid off handsomely. The feedback was that the session was a real highlight of the whole conference.
